Just tried this with my i9 9900K and Asus Z390-E Gaming motherboard with a Be Quiet DRP4 cooler. So far I am so impressed with the results! My CPU works about 6-7% faster now while only using 10 more watts during peak load than stock (175W vs 165W). Also the temperatures will top at 85C rather than 80C at stock.

9600k here with Asus z370i gaming mini itx MB. Nzxt H210 case and Corsair platinum se h100i aio cooler. I managed to reduce core voltage down to 1.270v and worked flawlessly. In cpu-z I beat the 9900k stock on single core score and on par with the 10700k as well. Legit and working, thanks man! 48 degrees on benchmark run.

Now almost every game is crashing + 1 bluescreen already. Followed this tutorial. Got an i7 9700k.
Edit: Resetted everything to default and only enabled that "Core Enhancement"(?) function. A few fps more wasn't worth the trouble and the high temperature (80-85°C) IMO.

Unfortunately on my Asus Z370E gaming and my i7-9700k 5.0 was not stable. Crashed about 3-4 minutes into a cinebench R23 run. I'll try 4.9 with the rest of the settings the same and see what happens.

*EDIT* 4.9Ghz was stable during a 10 minute Cinebench r23 test. Max temps were 78°C under 100% load.

Worked for my 10600kf at 5ghz, had to set the core voltage at 1.37v 80-85c in cinebench with a Noctua D15, no WHEA errors.

Is it not better to use offset voltage instead of manual? I would think letting the CPU adjust the clock and voltage based on load, would give longer lifespan and less powerdraw.

I run Cinebech R20 with your setting and always crash/bug while benchmarking CPU. Maybe i will increase the voltage a little bit

I overclocked my 9900kf with 1.3v to 4.9ghz

But I used some different configs:
- CPU Current capability > 140% (Maximum available on my mobo)
- CPU Power Duty Control > Extreme
- CPU Power Phase Control > Extreme

I’m not sure if this is good, I’m beginner on Overclock world. This is my first overclock. Please send your comments about my config
