I was laughing at the Key Lime Pie! I have made a few of the Dinner Series myself and I agree that the tweezers are not useful when trying to create these. A tip for the resin: remove the lid and the tabbed cover, then put the lid on and stand it up on the lid for a while. This makes it easier to get the resin out. For video purposes, you may want to open the resin first and while it is standing upside down you can open the rest of the items. I know I say this all the time but I love your videos!

GB.. if you saved a whip cream from key lime pie, it could have gone on the cheesecake! Mix and match! I think these little kits are adorable!

FYI In the directions it does say to put the resin bottles upside down for a period of time before opening - this helps!

mini brands went from just card board boxes to these food series to what it is now. Amazing growth. This channel grew up with it so it's really heart warming to see as someone from the future. A lot can happen in 3 years wow

If you set half the resin in the keylime pie first it would stop the cream and the limes from sinking.
If you get doubles I'd save them up and at the end mix and match the ingredients to make your own desserts. You could come up with unique creations.
I'd love to have a go at these when they arrive in Ireland I just hope the price isn't too bad.

I put the little bottles of resin in hot water for a minute and it makes it real runny. Easier. Also once you pour pie filling you should set it with the uv light that way the toppings don’t sink to the bottom. Layer it. I’ve bought 9 balls and have 1 double. Definitely expensive.

After watching a lot of these videos I think toothpicks or bamboo skewers would be very helpful in applying the resin

I would like to offer you some helpful tips while working with UV Resin, get some alcohol wipes or a bottle of rubbing alcohol 91% to clean up any resin you may spill or get on your tabletop or to clean off your tools like your blade etc… you can use baby wipes as well but in my experience the alcohol works best. If your resin piece still feels tacky it needs to go back under the uv light, uv resin never cures on its on without uv rays. If you want certain pieces to stay higher up like in the cup/glass cure part of the resin in the bottom then add more items and cure again, you can do this as many times as you want to get the look you’re going for. You can put the bottles that have the resin in them in warm or hot water to help the uv resin come out easier just do not get water in the resin. If you will be doing many projects with Resin it is a good idea to get a set of basic resin tools to help you move the uv resin and apply much easier, you can also use toothpicks for mixing or applying the resin. The black base of your uv light comes off and will make it easier to cure the resin on a flat surface because the base on yours is made to set hands on for curing uv nail polish. I have pretty close to the same uv light and removing the base was the best way to cure my pieces. I really want to send you some of my resin pieces I makes just to show you the awesome things you can do with resin and polymer clay. If you do have any questions about working with Resin just message me, I hope this info helps you with your mini verse balls, good luck and thank you for the great videos and time you put into them!

Super cute but tedious! I enjoy your videos, especially because you leave your mistakes in when you edit! Keep it real, thank you GB!

For anyone who wants to try this kit:

Please get a light that's specifically made for resin if you don't want to use sunlight. Nail lamps sometimes work too well with resin (I work with UV resin and I have learned the hard way not to use a nail lamp.) Also isopropyl alcohol is great for cleaning up resin! Make sure you don't use water because water is gonna make it worse!

Jackie, Nerdecrafter, puts a little bit of resin in the pie and hardens it. Then adds the rest of the resin and the toppings. They don't sink to the bottom this way. Hope this helps for your next one! ❤

I'm wondering GB if you can partially set the resin so when you're making the pie or other items things don't sink in as quickly. You really did a great job my friend is always. I've watched quite a few of these openings and my goodness some of them really were a comedy of errors. One YouTuber was so lost they ended up not using the resin at all and replaced it with slime. LOL bless their heart.
