Apparently he has time-traveled just like "back to the future" in this MINI. A 4 years old video reviewing a 1 year old car, that's epic!

How can this be the 2020 mini when this vid was uploaded 4 years ago????

THIS WAS MY DREAM CAR! I now finally have a 2019 MINI Oxford edition and I just love it! The sunroof, rear camera and heated seat comes as a standard, lovely features. The handling and breaking is awesome. It’s just so fun to drive. Size is small but that means it’s perfect for a single who lives in urban area. If you’re an undergrad/grad student please do consider MINI’s awesome oxford program. The price point is awesome, you get a premium car for the price of a Honda Accord :p

You don't buy a mini to carry people.

I own a 2015 Cooper D with lots of extras and it is simply brilliant in every way. It feels so expensive and he is wrong about wind noise because it's actually a very relaxing car to drive at any speed. I'd recommend it to anyone!

I’m gonna buy this car for sure. MINI’s are epic. And I agree that it’s small for passengers, but you buy a car for YOURSELF!

“A bit more Maxi”
I’m with you 100% there Mat.
1st Gen was the best looker.
And the GP is the best looker of them all.

I own a late 2014 Cooper S. I love it - it's the most fun car I've had. Genuinely puts a smile on my face when I put it in sport mode and go round bends. The acceleration is insane. So many people compliment the look, but that's also because it has over £10, 000 worth of options. Most of them on the exterior like JCW spoiler, mirror caps, upgraded alloys + centre caps, chrome line, xenons etc. BUT, it's also the most unreliable car I've had. After 2 months of ownership, the clutch (intermittently) wasn't returning after changing gear - took it to MINI to be told it needed a new engine (took over a week). Didn't even provide me a courtesy car. Also, wipers squeaked, engine oil needed replacing, sun visor was hanging loose and brake pads >60% worn. Shouldn't expect this from MINI. Love the car, HATE the service. :p

Why do reviewers always insist on talking about the rear seat legroom in MINI coupes? The Porsche 911 has rear seats, and it's just taken as a given that no one actually sits back there (you rarely see reviewers fussing over the lack of space in the back of a 911). Like the 911, the MINI coupe is a perfect GT for two people and all their gear.

Wait.. how is this the 2020 review from four years ago?

It's not a fashion statement. In that price point it's by far the most driver orientated car.
I've one and not because how it looks - though it helps - It because how fun can it be on a daily basis

Firm drive is a positive for some of us. Replace the runflats and you'll also have a better and quieter drive.

I drove a shitload of different MINIs in town, and I find especially the model reviewed here to be very comfortable for your average town run.

It's a brilliant car. I have a Petrol Mini One January 2017 (so UK 66 reg).
It's the absolute cheapest as it has zero options on it and is Moonwalk Grey which is the only colour that isn't available 'at extra cost' BUT my new car is packed with stuff. DAB+ radio with Bluetooth to link your mobile phone upto, Hill start assist, Air con a fabulous trip computer giving range left, mpg, digital mph read out, outside temperature, tyre warning and lots more stuff I can't remember off the top of my head.
Mine is a 1.2 3 cyl petrol and I average about 42 mpg which I'm impressed with.
It's also got bags of OOMPH. It's 100bhp and goes like you know what off a stick, yet is heavier and has a smaller engine than the previous generations ad also losing a cylinder.
True the boot isn't big BUT put your stuff on the back seat fcol.
I'm dead pleased with my Mini's interior. It has zero options as I've said but looks very good even so
I actually honestly don't think I can find one little niggle with my car. It's the best £14000 and odd I've ever spent.
Great on motorways and around town. 11/10.

I own a classic mini as well as a F56 mini cooper both of which are brilliant drives, however I only have one minor issue with the new gen MINI; Keep the window up if it has been raining or is raining as you will soon be driving a mobile swimming pool, water POURS in! I went back to the MINI dealership and they don't currently seem to offer wind deflectors to try and combat this issue.
