EASY Tea Eggs Recipes ☕️🥚

#Shorts TEA EGGS 🥚 ☕️

Hello foodie friends! I’m going to show you one of my favorite Taiwanese street food snacks, tea eggs! I remember when I was in Taiwan two years ago, I got these from either the convenience stores or the night market every single day. They were the perfect snack whenever I was feeling hungry or needed something during a long travel day. Since travel restrictions are still in place, I thought I would show you guies how you can make these at home!

Here are your ingredients:
11 eggs or however many fit your pot
6 cups of water (or enough to cover eggs)
1 cup of soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1/4tsp five spice powder
2 star anise
1 asian cinnamon stick
2 bay leaves
1/4tsp whole cloves
1tsp sichuan peppercorn
4 garlic cloves w/ skin
1tbsp rock sugar or sugar
2 bags of black tea and 1 bag of oolong

I have heard from a lot of people that everyone makes tea eggs differently but these were the ingredients that I liked for my recipe! Let me know if you guies tried it out or if you would like me to make any of your favorite street foods! :)
