For me, the most resemblance I could think of was Origins' Faery Forest because this on in the Undying Fury Update's also the same place but it is just corrupted.

Between turning Arivan into a villain and BONEHART pledging allegiance to VEZNAN, when he's responsible for his current state of being by not destroying the corrupted tear and keeping it for himself, I'm REALLY not a fan of this campaign's story

So this update confirms that after the end of origins, some elves went to settle to Linier with Alleria and the rest guarded their realm of Adherel with Eridan as their leader.

This resonated with me much more than pirate DLC... And the transformation at the end was absolutely great. For me, this method of updates is much better than paid DLC, which costs the same as the game itself, and that's a bit disappointing. Instead of pirate DLC, where there were only 2 characters from the last part, who were not quite as original heroes as Eridan and Arivan. These examples of the original heroes were much more evoked in me by Hamerhold and his heroes... So I was rather expecting some winks at the jungle (maybe next time).
