The difference is that we can check in Talion's character stats how many orcs did we kill

Funny enough I think Tolkien would've liked these orcs. he was always uncomfortable with making them purely evil.

The saddest thing is by the time you complete both SoM and SoW, Talion has killed more than 200, 000 orcs per game and all it ever did was push him to become more and more a servant of Sauron

Oddly enough, it's a non-canonical game what characterizes the orcs the most in the entirety of the Tolkien universe. And I really love what they did here, even if the orcs are more inspired in the Peter Jackson movies.

Hell, sometimes they even philosophize about their place in the world and their role in Sauron's war, and end up shutting themselves to change because it's more comforting to have a clearly defined purpose, than the uncertainty of free will. That's so deep and sad. I really wish to see more of these orcs

“You see i have this sweet stat tracker that keeps count of them all”

“I think the gravewalker finally lost it”

What I like about this game is that it gives the orcs a conscious. Like most of them don't really care to serve sauron but it's the hand they were dealt when they were created, so when the "bright" lord came they probably saw it as a good chance for actual change and prosperity for their race. Now image their sadness when they saw talion take on one of the 9 rings to stay alive and slowly wither away while fighting a long war aginst sauron just to become the very thing he stood aginst.

"How do you remember them all?"

Talion: *_Puts on sunglasses_* "I tally 'em."

Shadow of war is a master piece, they made sure we would play it for years since there would be no sequel

Talion: "Well I open up my stats page on the main menu here and scroll down to kills and it sorts them by general deaths as well as means of execution. See here I've decapitated 47 enemies and killed at least 227 with arrows."
Olog: "What?"

Well olog if they drop something important, they might have a death quote on the item, and their name

Y'know, as daunting as it seems, this makes me want to do another play through of SOW and record my kills. Just to spite this guy.

When I started a new game of Talion, I met a dream orc that legit said that my character was gonna be the Dark Lord and didn't know when to fight me or serve me
He didn't serve me so I decapitated him and took his fortress

i do still remember the first Orc captain that came back for revenge in Shadow of Mordor, i had no idea about the nemesis system when i first played so it took me by surprise.

I'm glad that you do this quite of things! I always spent time on listening to orcs more than actually playing the game, but yet It's better to have a place where you can easily hear them and don't hear reapeting lines!
(I hope I wrote it correctly)

Anyways, about killing. I think they both stopped counting at that point and I doubt Talion even bothered doing it at the first place, he just takes his revenge and protects his people.

I wish Talion actually had a talk button for his wandering Orcs, and actually responded to what they said, I feel like talion would respond to this like, "I do remember all I killed... I wish I could forget all like you (insert orc name here) ... I really do."

Fantastic writing in the orc dialogue. So much variety and hidden gems
