Its okay to know this but you should clear it that cracking exam like CAT is not everyones cup of tea and you will get call on basis of your past records

RoI is not simply your 1-3 yrs of salary compared to fees...
for most people success requires approx 10 yrs of incubation period...u will be late compared to your peers but still u will be much ahead by the time u reach 35 or 40 yrs of age...it doesn't matter much if u r at bottom 20-30% of comparable peer groups since still u will be in top 1% to top 0.5% of overall public and wealthy & resourceful in exact terms....

Yes IIMs are always worth it especially ABC but if these institutes don’t see your worth then it’s better to study in a top 100 institute in abroad. Many UK, USA, German, Australian schools can provide you similar quality education as these IIM’s and rank higher than these IIMs . I’m talking here for general students who’s value is worth much more than they think .

Dont expect ur networking to be the same as IIM from linkedin...
And for the job part, you can drop out of placements and there are MBA programs which don't offer placements like MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from SIBM, Pune..

Kushal Lodha are you 100% sure getting into IIM A will fetch everyone with Avg CTC of what you mentioned ? I work as a recruiter I know candidates who have 12, 14, 16 LPA CTC from IIM-A.
