IIM Placements are underway in top IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta and reports are looming around that a top MBA college has not been able to complete 100% internship placement - But what is the reality of IIM Placements in top IIMs across the country? While usually we hear about big IIM Placement Packages but this time there are concerns around is the degree worth it if you do not get a job after MBA even from top IIM

The reality however is something different. While the market conditions are difficult, it does not mean that IIMs are not able to complete their placements. In this video, I explain what exactly is the reality of IIM Placement Processes and why you should not be worried about the news that students are not getting placed? For someone who understands the IIM Placement Process will not be worried about it. All the students who have not got the internship will soon get placed in very good companies at very high packages only!

How a general background student with probably have some gap years manage to hold a the position above the median, is it only academics that matters, how a student is evaluated that he/she is in the top 30-40% of the batch

The truth is placement reports are inflated and if your UG is from any college other than Tier 1 then you'll not be placed or if placed it'll be at a very low package so that you'll even not be able to pay back the loan and you'll barely survive in city like Delhi or Bangalore

I am from IIM Kozhikode. Market conditions are tough. Less companies are coming, less offers and less package hence problem from 3 sides but I agree with him that degree hasn't become irrelevant
