I bought my 2002 Nissan Xterra, this week, in fresh condition 😁 for $2000!!!! God honored my prayers!

5:03 "you know the Camry?"
Shows a 1998 corolla instead.
Also, the MLs were generally hated by a number of people because they were built in the US and weren't as solidly built as German made models like the C and E class of the time.

Can confirm Nissan Xterra is amazing. I watched 2 college girls show up at a Jeep run in one and they literally beat the crap out of it for 10+ miles and nothing broke! I was shocked!

Honestly I do not suggest getting the supercharged Xterra, the naturally aspirated one is about 100x more reliable

Nothing is quite as reliable as a Honda....

Toyota: Am I a joke to you ?

Always been a fan of the Xterra, my dad had one with a 6 speed manual and 4 wheel drive and I fell in love with it

The older Tahoes are a good choice. Had a Yukon XL with almost 300k on it when I sold it. I have an MDX now with 205k. It's been a good little suv too!

If you want fuel economy to go places, road trips then I’d say Subaru Forester and Outback (4 cyl versions). Good AWD system, works well off road, just use AT tyres if you want to improve the off road ability even more (you need traction not power)

07-08 4WD Honda Pilot is solid (03-06 had transmission problems) if it's been well maintained. The VTM-4 Lock has worked very well in any muddy or snowy conditions I've put it in. Ours has 207, 000 miles on it and has only stranded us once when the alternator died at 185, 000 miles, otherwise it's been incredibly reliable. Change the oil regularly, service the transmission and 4WD every 75, 000 miles, and put a new water pump and timing belt in every 100, 000 miles and it will run forever. Ours still runs like it's new.

The lexus RX years you mentioned are technically rx330's, not 350's. I also think the 1st and 2nd gen CR-V deserves a spot. Not too hardcore on the offroading, but definitely dependable and well-made.

Completely forgot the Xj Cherokee. With the 4.0 which most of them have if they’re after 88’, they’re 300k+ mile engines and easy as hell to work on, not to mention cheap and parts are everywhere and the aftermarket support for them is massive. They also are extremely easy to lift and have a solid front and rear axle and seat 5 people with plenty of cargo space in the rear. Not sure how this was beaten out by an old merc suv and an Acura...

Wow I recently got my license and my grandma passed down her 09 RX350 and I was surprised to see it here. It only has 67, 000 miles and I get to keep it till it dies. Balling on budget!

My first car was a red 2000 Nissan Xterra. I put shackles on it, cranked torsion bars, and 32's. Had such a blast with it!

ive got a 97 pathfinder as my first car and man does this thing love to go. it just keeps ticking and has no faults wrong with it. the 4x4 is great and interior is not outdated and the exterior holds its own.

but i also have to stick with nissan. xterra takes my hand

I own a Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L V6, and I swear it’s bulletproof! The 3.7L is actually fast too. You won’t believe me until you buy one then you’ll see. Also them 350 Tahoe’s are bad to the ass!
