So I tried this the other night except I made a few changes. I omitted the BBQ sauce, rub, and bacon. I placed the hamburger and tomato sauce in a saute pan and let it simmer and placed the spaghetti in a separate pot and let that cook until tender. I then put everything together on my plate. Added a little parm and viola! Amazingly, it turned out perfectly and very close to how I usually cook spaghetti. 😊

I watched to the end because I wanted to see how this was going to turn out BUT I think I'll continue to cook spaghetti my old fashion way with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, celery and sausages on top of the stove👍

I laughed all the way through and I love those ingredients although I would have never thought to cook it with all those ingredients and in that manner but it sure looked delicious when it came out of the oven!!❤

Speaking as a professional CHEF, this recipe looks outrageous & honestly I bet it tastes amazing. I would like to see how the pasta turned out. I would have seasoned the meat when he made the well to put the dry noodles in as well as the additional seasoning once he closed beef log & wrapped it in bacon. I’ll have to try it myself & will post my comment when I do 👍😊😎

Taste is like the eye of the beholder not for everyone but I would like to try it at least once it looked fantastic and in Italian cooking from the north to the south to every part of the world there is always more than one way. Mangia! Mangia!

If you enclosed your log within dough with a layer of minced garlic on the inside (so it doesn't burn) & baked it like a *Beef Wellington* -- You would create the next version of your Spaghetti Log. And as you serve, pour a herb enriched butter sauce over each slice to turn the outer shell into garlic bread. *Spaghetti Wellington* would be a good name for this new dish. Adding fried onions & mushrooms inside or as a option of spoon over the slices would also be a nice touch. Beef Wellington always impress, but this done right would be harder to make so it should blow their socks off. And that outer bread layer should be a couple of inches thick.

Would need to make mini versions until you get the times, temps, & rest timing correct because most of Beef Wellington baking time is done out of the oven while resting, & this is a good thing to give the bread time to cool down to be eaten.

Making a dozen mini versions of these instead & serving everyone at a dinner party their own, or freezing them to have them available for a meal for when people got hungry.

Or maybe adding pepperoni, oregano, fried onions, fried peppers, & fried mushrooms, & go more towards a Stromboli/Pizza/Spaghetti dinner version... maybe even adding cheesesteak steak meat to the middle.

And cheesesteak steak meat is not Steak-umm.

Think tonight I'm going to order a steak Stromboli for dinner. With the sauce is done right being on the inside.

This recipe edged my teeth. I had a boyfriend who was Italian and his mother came here from Sicily. I can just hear them now! They would have ranted for days in Italian!❤

My neighbor cooked this for her large family and myself and my brother and it was delicious! She did it just like he did except for the basil she didn't have fresh she tweaked it with garlic and additional seasonings and it turned out great the kids got a kick out of watching her put this together we all got "Dinner and a Show"❤

It was very interesting to watch because i wanted to see how ALL of the ground beef would turn out. I don't eat ground beef anymore, and if i did i would NEVER use THAT much meat to cook spaghetti. The best looking part was the mozzarella cheese. Thanks for sharing, im always looking for new recipes.
