Hi @oztabletpc ! I was considering to buy either an Ipad Pro or a Surface Pro. I want it mainly to take handwriting notes, check and annotate pdfs. I think the Surface Pro fits better my needs as I would like to occasionally code on it. However, I don't intend to replace my laptop with the Surface. Do you think that both devices can coexists ? Because, I feel that once I own the Surface, I would have two devices that can do the same thing, and that it will be harder to synchronize the two.

I'd love to get a surface hub... In 20 years when it's on oddity!
Was hoping for a surface Go mention!
Great video regardless!

Thanks! I went from having no idea what the different surfaces were. What are some examples of things the surface pro can't do very well? I'm ok with leaving VMWare and VR on my other rig, but I would still like to be able to crunch large spreadsheets in Excel with formulas that bog the system down.

Hi Brett, you have convinced me to buy a windows tablet, I think it will be very useful for taking notes and mobility. I manly will be using the tablet for taking notes. I am thinking in buying the surface pro i5 but the price is stopping me. What do you think? Maybe a device would you recommend me? Maybe other brand?. Thank you!

Your videos are most comprehensive for surface users. 👍
1). Do you recommend, surface book I base model without GPU? Or Surface Pro is better i5 8Gb.
2). Small screens have any bad effect for eye sight??

Hi. How much difference do you think is between apple pencil and surface pen in terms of note taking?
Also, I experienced some faulty input when I am trying out the surface pen in the store(I am a lefty and I was resting my palm on the screen while I was writing), is it because I am a lefty?

Hi guys, I'm looking for an answer to this question: How does the Surface Pro or Go handles bigger Word-Docx-documents? I have a lot of office - documents and wanna know, wich of the two I should buy. With a Chromebook (Pixel 2013) it was a nightmare using google-docs with bigger documents because it slows the machine down so it becomes unusable. Now I have Office 365 and consider buying a Surface but cannot find the answer. Maybe a Go 2018 would be sufficient? Your answer would be appreciated. :-)

I think your disdain for the surface laptop is misguided. It is perfect for someone like me as a software developer who needs power and yet also needs to keep mobile. I could care less about touching my screen. As a matter of fact if other people touch my screen, I smack them on the hand.

I don't think the surface pro is good for everyone, the biggest reason being the kickstand. I have a surface pro, and the stand is great, but if you are at school with a small desk, your kickstand has to take up some of the space, because if you push it too far back on the desk, it just falls off. In my opinion, the surface laptop is a good choice, but I feel like they should get rid of the surface book, and make the surface laptop turn all the way around, and have the high end specs of the book. That would simplify the lineup a bit.

Hi Mate, thanks for the great reviews. I totally agree with you about what the future of laptops should be: 2 in 1 that's all. It's time for me to buy a 2 in 1 solution, would Surface Pro 6 with 16 GB ram and 512 GB SSD suit the needs of someone like me who use only one device for all purposes, owns a 4K screen at home, likes the mobility but does light video editing and Lightroom for hobby ? I cannot find even one review that focus on a mid range power usability. Oh and gaming is not my thing. I like the Surface book 2 but I don't see the reason to spend so much money on a device that is probably over powered for my needs. I love the design and the portability of the Surface Pro. Please give me your thoughts. Cheers
