I like that he took his time to figure out his feelings for Pen after their first kiss. He just didnt jump into anything haste in a day. He took time, processed his feelings and expressed to her when he was absolutely sure. It shows great maturity. He didnt manipulate her or take advantage of her with unclear mindset. He understood that he loved her. Love the arc. Awesome 👏👏

Ugh, they were so good! I'm hoping this scene continues with all the comedic parts that follow Colin's proposal in the book. You know, the part where she falls with unbelief, and they tease and banter about the shock of it all...(Colin, shocked that pen would believe he would just about take her innocence and not respectfully propose. Pen shocked at the question being asked overall).
Then he picks her off the ground and says, " Now take my arm before it starts to rain." She looked up at the clear sky..."At the rate you're going, " Colin said impatiently, "we'll be here for days."

😂 this would just bring the scene full circle as they're so silly and comfortable with each other as childhood friends!
