To be frank, I really love this wedding the most, cause it is the union of two families who were fighting each other to come out on top in getting their daughters married. Making a point to get their daughters a superior match. And it's also wholesome, because Colin was, in Anthony's words his mother's headache, and Penelope meant little to her mother. And it's beautiful to see Polin bringing them together ❤❤

I cry every time I watch this. The level of happiness I have for Pen this season despite the whistledown shenanigans I really wanted her to be happy with the one she truly loved for all her life pretty much. Her fairytale came true. Colin finally gained sense of purpose no longer looking for approval through others. Pen was all he needed other than his family.

The wedding sense is so much more romantic in this clip when you don't have the context of Lady whistledown conflict.

Edit: Okay, just wanna clarify. When I say the "Whistledown context" I am specifically referring to the Show-Whistledown dynamics. I'm still in favor with the Book-Whistledown dynamics because Colin proposed to Pen knowing she was whistledown and was intimate with her knowing everything so there was no deception on Pen's part. But within the context of the show, it does makes sense as giving Pen a chance to tell Colin allows Pen her own choice and will.
