Many of Kurt Kobain's struggle stem from the fact that he was most likely molested as a child. Kurt never admits this explicitly however several of the adults around him in his childhood were either convicted sex offenders or later revealed as pedophiles. A neighbor who house he would visit after school was later found to have been molesting boys. Several of Kurts friends fathers were closet pedophiles. His uncle committed suicide before facing court on child sex charges. This uncle lived with him in their house till he was eight or ten. Kurt also alludes to rape and molestation throughout his lyrics. On top of this Kurt had a fascination with human anatomy. The interest is common among child sex sbuse survivors.
