Krist has never been the same since. Bless him

Kurt was 27 when he died. Ian Curtis was 23. Elliot Smith 34.
When you think about the sheer amount of music that came from these people in such a short amount of time and how they’re no longer here. It’s crazy. There will never be another Joy Division album, no more Nirvana. It’s sad how fleeting life is.

Krist talking about seeing Kurt in dreams kinda resonates with me. My grandma passed last year and the night before her funeral I had a dream where I got to interact with her again. She was always really stubborn and our family would try to take her out to dinner or go see a movie and she'd stubbornly refuse and tell us that she just wanted to stay in her recliner and watch old black and white movies. So in the dream I was trying to convince her that she had to come to her funeral because it was her funeral and she had to be there. And she was so stubborn like she always was. I haven't had a vivid dream with her in it since but I look forward to it. I miss her.

Krist was definitely the humor in the band.

i love how in the jimmy fallon clip, krist refers to kurt as “their friend” almost like no one knew him. really adds a sense of love for kurt

Saw their very last show in France (02.18.94 @ Grenoble) as my very first show for my 14th birthday with my father. Best birthday gift ever. Never cried so much not even two months later. Hate April month since then. Lost my Dad more recently in 2021, on April, again... Cried a lot again. Thank you Daddy for having allowed my teenage dream of seeing Nirvana live becoming true. Thank you Kurt, thank you Krist, thank you Dave (and thank you Pat) for the Grenoble show, and for Nirvana! And fuck you April. The worst month in a year.

29 years already. It's hard to believe. It seems like yesterday when Kurt Loder broke the news to the world. In that moment it felt like time stood still. I'll never forget how gutted we all were. We felt lost.

My dad died in 2008, I've had a vivid dream about him. I was telling him about his grandsons he never got to meet, & what badasses they've become.

I wonder how many times people have asked Dave and Krist about Kurt Cobain

Playing music with your dead friend in your dreams is just pure... i once had a dream, in which Kurt was sitting with my family and me at the dinner-table, laughing and joking... was so happy to have dreamt that. 💛🖤

it's taken me 29 years to listen to Dave and Krist talked about Kurt. a feeling of not poking at their grief. or maybe my grief. whats classy is loyalty. not badmouthing a beloved friend after death. not rising to bait like stern.. decades on and i remain the teen rockin out..., then suddenly walking in a shocked stupor to the news of his passing, with the album blasting in my soul. thank you for this upload / respectful remembrance

I miss Nirvana as a band so much, never knew them personally but the music spoke to me like everyone else. Now I try to create in Kurt's and Trevor s honor, my cousin who got me in to them...RIP!!!!

“He should have never done that” — poor Krist always says some version of this

I can’t imagine what it’s like to dream about a close friend or relative who died and then you wake up to remembering that they’re gone…..

I worked as a stage hand for their last show in Jax Fl at the Moroccan Temple…an hour or so before they went on, I had just changed clothes in the locker/shower room, & Krist walks in. After ‘wow…hey man’ and such, I asked him if we could go to their bus to smoke some weed I brought, and he jokingly said ‘I’m a rockstar..we can smoke it right here’ and so we burned together right there in front of the showers🤣

I can only imagine any interview with Krist and Dave will ALWAYS turn into a, 'what was Kurt like' interview.

Kurt always just seemed like a great-spirited guy, it's still undoubtedly unfortunate what happened to him but he was still a fantastic artist
