Xbox Series X review: A silent 4K beast in need of games

The Xbox Series X is finally here. This machine is a massively powerful gaming console, and feels like an apology for everything that went wrong with the Xbox one. Lower relative price? Check. Big specs? Check. Kinect? Nowhere in sight. The Series X delivers on the promise of gorgeous 4K gaming, and is a well engineered, if bulky machine, but it doesn't have many new games to back it up. Sony's launch slate is stronger, and for folks without a 4k HDR TV, the Series S is much cheaper and probably a better deal. Still, for Xbox fans looking for maximum performance in a sleek design, the Series X isn't going to disappoint.

Going to make the switch from PS4 to Xbox Series X because of game pass/ console payment plan. If there’s a ps exclusive that I “have” to play it’ll likely be made available on PS4 for the next couple of years.

How is the fan noise when playing a 4k blu ray disc? The one x is distractingly loud when watching a movie

Is worth uograde from Xbox one s to new Xbox series if i only have 4K TV with 50Hz? The other issue is when i play Xbox on projector im using optical cable that is connected from Xbox into my logitech 5.1 sound system. How do i connect the sound when it does not have optical out? Any audio converter will help ? Im in hard decision should i buy the new Xbox x or stay with lód Xbox one s.

This dude said "I appreciate that one side of the system has rubber feet to tell you that's the way it should go horizontally, which is more than I can say for Sonys". Literally the PS5 has indicators on the back of the console to show you where the "hooks" from the stand should align (spoiler: it's at the ends where there are two squares on each side). If you couldn't tell that by looking at it then that's why there's a manual with simple instructions to help users figure it out. A glance at the instructions should allow anyone to automatically familiarize themselves with how to attach the stand. I watched the PS5 review and the amount of exaggeration put into how the stand attaches to the PS5 is amazing. I believe in the PS5 review this guy said something along the lines that "looking at Ikea instructions to attach a stand is not something I want to do". It's not rocket science. Why not also criticize the fact that for the PS5 you need to remove an entire faceplate and unscrew an additional cover just to add an SSD. Nah right? Let's criticize a stand with 1 screw. The point I'm trying to make is, if you're job is to review these things at least familiarize yourself with the device thoroughly instead of blabbling out nonsense about the most irrelevant "features" or quirks like how one device is easier to put horizontally than another.

In near future the best thing will be Xbox series x all digital with 100 dollars less and white colour would be awesome.
