Something that helps with the injection pain is to have them pinch their nostrils closed and wiggle back and forth. I'm absolutely dead terrified of dentists and it helps me.

Im an adult and they numb the area before using the needle, I felt nothing last time but I had my eyes tightly shut, squeezing the arms of the chair for dear life and squealing as quietly as I could in anticipation of the pain from the needle. So happy they numbed it first.❤
