I seriously appreciate the fact that you take time to explain things to children. My daughters second dentist appointment ever they basically did a sneak attack while putting something in her mouth to stop cavities from progressing and she freaked out.
I tried to tell them just slow down and tell her what your doing and she will do what you ask and they didn’t listen and both ended up getting bit because they said “it’s just better to do it fast and get it over with “ needless to say we didn’t go back there.

As someone who was held down and forcefully had the startings of a root canal done with no novocaine and at the age of seven I cry every time I see one of your videos. I wouldn't have the trauma that I have now as a current thirty-seven-year-old grown adult had I had a dentist like you. Bless you and your family. Thank you.

I always amuse myself… here I am watching again despite our daughter being 19 .. but she had a super dental nurse in her primary school days here in NZ who told stories about her cat Lemonade while injecting Ella’s gum! Linda distracted me as well!! You are the best, John! 🇳🇿🇳🇿🐑🐑👏🏼👏🏼

I was traumatized by an sick dentist when I was really young .
Weird I dont remember the moment at all but I know the fear and anxiaty I get and need to be put to sleep or sedated everytime ...
These kids are amazing and wish I got someone like him as a child he's awsome and goes the e tra mile to make it a positive expirience.

I just wanna say I love seeing your videos. I went to a bad dentist when I was younger. I remember getting one of my teeth pulled when I was about 7 and the dentist pride my mouth open with his fingers to do my injection. Started my whole fear of the dentist. There needs to be more kind hearted dentists like you who really care about the teeth of the kiddos 💕

I'm glad dentists like him exist, be weary of who you go to though. My parents brought me to a dentist once when i was 12 or 13 and they tried holding me down (the assistant grabbed my arms and tried to firmly hold me in place). I'm already not comfortable with public places or other people, but being held down like that. It won't ever happen again.

Luckily many dentists have experience with people who are skiddish.
