Mysterious Objects Hiding in the Kuiper Belt!

Since we began exploring space, we've been looking farther out in the solar system to see what's there, and in 1992 we discovered the Kuiper Belt; an icy cold and dim region beyond Neptune's orbit.

There have been a lot of interesting discoveries there recently, and some strange and mysterious objects have been found floating around in the belt… and one of these has scientists completely baffled.

What are these objects, and is it possible one of them is an alien ship? Get ready to find out the answers to this and more!

Maybe instead of us always fighting and killing each other, if we all came together we can pull our resources together and really explore the universe. But sadly not in my lifetime do I see that happening.

Civilization millions of years more advanced wouldn't have to hide in kuiper belt. They would have technology to hide right here on earth

Funny story, I first learned about Haumea and Makemake from my then 4yr old, two years ago. I thought he had made up those "planets" from names resembling things named in Dragon Ball Z (we had been watching the series at the time, daily and he had learned about Goku's Kamehameha powers so I thought he had sort of made up these two words based on that one. He was constantly repeating these "new" words to me every time he started watching videos on YT about the solar system and planetary stuff, that I would just tell him they weren't not in our solar system/galaxy and to stop making them up. He would also include them in his drawings. Little did I know I was the one who was wrong, as one day I was watching a video about our galaxy etc, myself and suddenly those names came up. My jaw dropped lol

I turned to my son and told him I was sorry for not believing in him and how proud I was that he finally knew something I didn't lol

Recently I heard him saying something about a Farfarout thing, and as I have just discovered a couple of days ago, there's something floating around in our solar system with that name. 🤣

"It'll be the 1st planet discovered in over 200 years" what? I don't get it. I thought we were discovering planets on a regular basis?

I love the approach to thinking about the possibility of life elsewhere and crafts from other planets that the answer is almost always "it's unlikely" or nah! Think about how friggin weird everything else about space is!

I love how this channel is called Destiny, and unintentionally (maybe intentional) connects it to the video game Destiny and Destiny 2. That object is probably The Dreadnaught.
