that “glowing sea creature” looks to be a comb jelly!! theyre bioluminescent, meaning they can emit light from their bodies. usually comb jellies are clear, maybe the one pictured was melanistic? (a condition in which the body produces too much melanin, creating fully black animals) im unsure if comb jellies can have melanism, but thats my guess :] (i study biology as a passion and hobby!)

Apparently the shark was part of a movie called "Choc au Lac" and they left it there to freak people out. I'd say it was successful!
