Just purchased a 2021 Scag Cheetah 2 with the 38.5 hp Kawasaki FX1000V EFI with 61in deck and I still cannot believe how incredible this machine is more then enough power and speed yard looks amazing no clumping in damp/wet grass very very well built im very particular about things but with this machine I have not one single regret other then not buying one years ago this is my first scag and the way this one is built it will prolly be the last one I ever have to buy

Love the fact you don't have to f%&$king stand on the parking brake to engage it, like with Kubota...

Just got my Cheetah II last week and I like it a lot. I’m not happy that I was forced to get a 72 inch deck by someone who doesn’t know my job. I prefer the 61 inch deck. But I am going to use this bad boy to it’s fullest.
I think I’ll name it Chester Cheetah. 😂

I need this mower. I test drove one and was overly impressed.
I cut grass around a reservoir with massive fields and terrain that is quite challenging. Sadly in 2017 my former supervisor got me a Scag Patriot while another department, which cuts grass in smaller less demanding areas got Turf Tiger II zero turns.
The Patriot is a glorified homeowner mower. I have put in a request to my new supervisor for the Cheetah II, I tried the Turf Tiger and the Cheetah out performs them for what I need.

I bought this mower. Great machine. Just having a terrible time mowing early morning when the dew is still on the ground, or any kind of moisture at all. Have the scag swzt. It always out cuts the cheetah I bought. Especially, like I said. In any moisture. Am I doing something wrong?

What’s the big advantages over the original cheetah? The fuel capacity has drop. I’m getting all new equipment soon.

How do you access the blade belt to change it? I have a ZT without that suspension system - with easy access to the blade belt.

Why did you downgrade the fuel tank size from the 15 gallons of the original Cheetah? Looks awesome other than that.

Looks to me your mowing grass that dont need mowed to prove how good it cuts. Try some field grass or something taller to prove its capability.

My boss runs nothing but scag mowers. We have 2 61inch cheetahs a 2015 and 2018 and a 36in walk behind. We have the best stripes in town. Nothin beats the velocity deck!🐅🐅🐅🐅 #stripeking
