Ran my SCAG turf tiger 2, with heavy use for 11 years. Sold it for 1/2 price and it is still going today (15years)

Kubota definitely should have been on this list. I love their shaft mower deck. They have alot of great features to.

I had a few of these brands in the past and switched to country clipper with 1 joystick control and flip up deck. This thing is amazing.

My ZD21 Kubota is 20 years old with only having the starter replaced and normal maintenance. I’m definitely very pleased with its reliability and performance.

I have a 2016 Dixie Chopper Silver Eagle with a 27 horse Kohler EFI and 60” deck that I bought new. In 7 years it has had nothing done to it except routine maintenance and still runs as good as the day I bought it. It’s a tank.

Definitely need to include kubota - my zero turn diesel with 60 inch deck is a true workhorse that just “goes -goes-goes” . I use it on my farm cutting 6 acres of grass plus lot of rough fence line edges that I should use a tractor bush hog for - I added trailer hitch and it pulls a light trailer which often gets way to much weight for its rating but the kubota doesn’t seem to even notice. Service at dealer is top notch and they will send service truck out if requested - best of all when I sold the first kubota I owned I got more in resale than what I paid for it from a landscaper who was thrilled to get it - my replacement which is just a larger unit is 7 years, 3500 hours of trouble free operation, and still no hydraulic /engine or oil issues. I do change fluids more often than manual recommendation but so I spent an extra couple hundred dollars over the years - a small price compared to savings in trouble free operation.

You definitely should add Kubota to your lists and also show prices for all the different machines

Since everyone is chiming in and boasting about their mowers
I love my 21" MTD Pro push mower.

I bought a Kioti last year. Been very happy with it so far. I looked at Spartan but Kioti had the suspension seat which also had a higher back which is more comfortable.

Bad Boy Outlaw XP bought in 2016 to keep my 3 acres under control. I regularly mow 3 of my neighbors places also. Only thing I added was a bunch of lights so I can mow after dark during the hottest part of the summer months. Just routine maintenance, zero problems. 🫡

Had a Scag and tested a new Scag while waiting for parts, machine overheated twice. Looked at Scag, Farris, Wright, Toro, JD and Bobcat. My local Scag dealer sucks. Bought a Bobcat ZT7000 and am very happy. Toro was a little bit of a let down for the price. Wright surprised me with an excellent machine but was being sold by the same scrappy Scag dealership. The dealership made the difference followed by quality of the machine, then price.

Many years ago, one of the chief engineers of scag left, so I heard and started his own company called great dane. Bought one back in 2006 still using it today. 18 years. Not bad

For sure Kubota and Gravely need to be added. I own a Ferris. Why? Suspension period. They all use the same hydraulics, engine and tire manufacturers. To me it came down to comfort. What I couldn't compare was the cutting ability. Speed is nice but you had better have razor sharp blades or the cut will look shaggy. I like ease of access to grease spindles etc.Choose your color, make sure you have dealer support for parts and maintain the unit. Every spring I inspect belts, change oil, change fuel filter, change air filters, clean battery terminals, change hydro oil and filters every 100 hours and grease everything that has a zerk fitting. Maintenance is the key regardless of make.
