I saw Kirk play it live, really cool axe. As much as I 'll argue that Kirk can't hold a candle to Gary's shadow, I do love that the guitar is still a touring instrument and not collecting dust in some doctor's collection.

I’m fine with it being called the Kirk Hammett Greeny. He is the owner and custodian of it and he actually performs with it.

Its Gary Moore who made that guitar famous. Either way, they were both legends. I picked up the Gibson USA version, and after putting in a couple hours of polishing and sanding, I love it!

My favorite thing about that guitar
Is that it obviously came with a pick guard originally and he doesn’t care to have a pick guard. He said “to hell with it” and just left the hole right there by the pickup 😊
