Case of the Babysitter (1947) Mystery-Comedy | Tom Neal, Pamela Blake

Jewel thieves, operating in the guise of a Duke and Duchess, hire the Ace Detective Agency to "baby sit" the infant they are using as a blind for their thefts. A rival mob dopes the detective's dumb aide and make off with a valuable diamond.

Thank you👏👍!!! Wonderful comedy!!! If Allen Jenkins is in it, you know that's there's gonna be, some fun acting. Even his straight roles, like in Bogie's 'Dead End' (1937). Tom Kennedy, the eternal Irish copper😏. Noticed another Kennedy in this (Bill), and probably was, the big thug. Actress who played Valerie, also helped, put this over.

He said she had " Eyes like limpid pools ", in my experence limpid pools are usually quicksand, once you're caught in soft brown or baby blues, you already know you're a goner, you never had a chance . 😂😂😂
