For everyone saying you need a $3000 scanner you’re wrong. The Autel has the maxi check mx808 that’s $500 and it let me relearn. Yes I know $500 is a lot but it comes in handy for me being a mechanic and doing side work

Wont disconnecting the battery for some time and draining any storage, then re connecting and restarting the car force the car to re learn stuff? The software is just for faster fixes.?

You only need a code reader. If you do not get a code and your Jeep is stopping when driving, it is most likely the crankshaft sensor. While installing the OEM sensor, not some cheap junk. Disconnect your ground and hot cables and connect them together . After you have done the sensor connect the battery cables. Now turn on the key and let the fuel pump cycle and then turn on the car and let it idle to get warm to about 75 degrees. If your code tool is still attached delete the codes. Now turn the car back on and it is done. No codes should show and the learn has completed.
