I had an issue waking my husband up for the first 3 years of our marriage. Until I learned his weakness LOL :D His one of those people who has to sleep with all the lights off, and the fan on full blast. Now, I just turn on all the lights and turn off the fan, and the sleeping bear awakes. She just needs to learn his weakness we all have them.

Stop trying to get him up. If he doesn't get up with an alarm clock on his own and he's late for work a couple of times, maybe he'll learn his lesson. He's a grown man. She's his wife, not his mother and not responsible for getting him to work on time. Especially if he won't get up for her! Time for baby to grow up and take responsibility for himself.

My son's father had a real problem waking up, or should I say staying awake (he would respond to me "ok, I'm up" and fall right back to sleep) after trying all sorts of different things with no success, I had gone to my side of the bed, slid my arms between the mattress and box spring up to about my elbows, and lifted that mattress straight up to the sky and rolled his butt right off the other side!!! He wasn't all that impressed but got over it. Let me tell you, as Steve said, he always heard me trying to wake him up prior to that because after I did it, as soon as I would threaten to roll him off the bed again, he was awake, up and out of it!!! :)
