How to Sync Audio in VLC Media Player (Adjust Audio Time)

VLC Media Player allows you to adjust the audio delay and time to correctly sync your audio. If your audio is playing before or after the video you can use VLC to line up the audio and fix the sync issue.

To fix audio sync in VLC you will need to use the Track Synchronization options in the tool settings.Here you can enter a custom amount to offset or speed up the audio by. This will allow you to sync your audio and video better in VLC.

If your audio is close to being sync, but needs small adjustments the you can use the J and H keys on your keyboard. Using these keys allow you to adjust the audio forward or backwards by 50ms at a time. This should be enough to correctly synchronize your video and audio in VLC.

Hi can anyone recommend a user friendly audio/video sync for full length movies program? I am not that good when it comes to this stuff and all of the programs I tried like Videopad, Wavpad, Freemake, videoproc, VLC yada yada are too confusing and have no idea how to use it.
I'm trying to add the original audio soundtrack to certain movie both the video and audio are 1hr.30min.30sec in length but are still out of sync quite abit and it's driving me crazy. I also want to save and convert it on dvdfab so I don't have to screw around the syncing every time I play it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
