How to quickly sync audio in Final Cut Pro

Anytime you use a recorder for your audio instead of recording directly into the camera, you will need to sync your audio in post. This is how to quickly do that in Final Cut Pro.
Recording your audio with a capable recorder is probably the best way to get the most quality. Most recorders can do much more than your camera’s internal mic. Even the recording app on your phone will sound much better than your camera. These tips will help you quickly sync your recorded audio with your recorded video.

Just recently got the latest version and something seems to be missing. When I’m scrubbing through frame by frame I can no longer hear when audio starts to kick in. Scrubbing seems to have no audio anymore. Is there a switch I need to toggle on

CapCut has the best audio sync. I like to edit in Final Cut but I do my syncing in CapCut first. Takes 5 seconds
