The fact that the size matches the Biblical size for the ark is quite something. That alone would make me want to go.

It's mad that I'm only finding out about this site at the age of 40 I'm not a full-blown Christian by any means but I think things of this significance should be more known about to the public all over the world.

"Many historians and Bible scholars agree that "Ararat" is the Hebrew name of Urartu, the geographical predecessor of Armenia; they argue that the word referred to the wider region at the time and not specifically to Mount Ararat. The phrase is translated as "mountains of Armenia" (montes Armeniae) in the Vulgate."

Thanks for doing this. For years, all I’ve ever seen is a distant photo of this, and never closer.

Thank you for giving this a fair and balanced approach. Your Geologist associate knows which side his bread is buttered on, if he dared give you a positive responce, they would be cancelled and looking for work.

Petrified wood is typically millions of years old....

Obviously just a unique geological feature, but pretty clear why the Turkish government would want to promote it as "Noah's Ark."

It's absolutely something.
Not just geological formation.
Ron Wyatt did a lot of research on it.
You used to be able to see it on Google Earth but now it's all blurred out.(Why if it's just rocks)

According to Quran: Noah Ark is on Cudi Dağı, not on Ararat, dear Hugh Newman. For your information...

It's 100% Noah's Ark. If you people would go there you would believe it.

Turkish government promote this as Noah's Ark because it generates money. It's just a rock formation.

I think we found Noahs ark quite a few times now. Keeps disappearing and reappearing elsewhere.

“Just happens to match the dimensions…”
“Found near Mt Ararat…
Do the odds ‘for’ outweigh those ‘against?’
Parts excavated revealed wood beams and nails!
It’s much easier to dismiss something
than to prove it is something.

I hear they found ribs and metal detectors validated the discovery. The Place of Eight and a gravestone where seven are walking away from the one that died. It is valid.

Why don’t ppl look into where the flood story came from? Before it was written into the bi Le it was written in Sumerian text and probably other older texts. But all of them clearly state the ark was round, not boat shaped.
