I’ve figured out how to do it on Mac!! It wasn’t working for me the way he did it either. You go on general settings by pressing the logo in the very top left, then go onto general, languages and regions and if you scroll all the way down it should say ‘apps’. Click the ‘+’ button and select opera GX or any app and then select your language and press add. You’re welcome!!

That's fine, but still had trouble changing the UI to english. Finally found the trick, set default language to english (UK or whatever), don't chose just "english" alone, but english somewhat. Then relaunch. Worked for me. 😅

Doesn't work.
It says that "Display Opera in this language" is on but the fucking Opera GX is still in Czech (i'm czech so that makes sense but i want it in english)
Edit: fuck fuck im an idiot sorry it does work i just accidentally removed the entire language of english from my pc now i got it back
