Christians will bypass Dr. Tabor's words and scream "Paul had divine revelation" but when you tell them about the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, they'll suddenly be overly critical of the method of revelation. It's just comical.

Regardless, this is yet another brilliant interview brother Paul. Dr Tabor is very careful with his words and I respect him for that, but any honest person looking from the outside can see that Paul and his writings has overshadowed Jesus in the gospels and that speaks volumes

You have 2 versions of Jesus in the same book (Bible) : one God and one Prophet. That should tell us someone is lying.

💥 Exposing Paul Lies 💥

When you read Matthew chapter 27, you will see that Judas killed himself before - according to them - the crucifixion of Jesus:

Matthew 27:5

So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

Matthew 27:46

About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, [a] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

That is why it means before the event - according to them - the resurrection of Jesus - that the number of the disciples would be 11, but Paul said in his letter to the Corinthians:

1 Corinthians 15:5

and that he appeared to Cephas, [a] and then to the Twelve.

This means that he did not receive the revelation and the alleged story of the resurrection did not happen, but Mark, who came later said:

Mark 16:14

Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.

So Mark (The Anonymous Person) who didn't claim getting revelation didn't make the mistake in this alleged resurrection story but Paul who made the claim getting the revelation from Jesus get it wrong 🙄

I would say kind of yes because: Paul is the initiator, the founder of Pagan Christianity, before him was just the judaic Christianity. As time went on, judaic Christianity disappeared and the Pagan Christianity, which Paul founded, initiated became the todays Christianity. Christianitys development from a jewisch sect to a "new religion" took several hundred years but we can say it was completed during the 5th century after dozens of christian councils where todays Christianty was defined !!

Historical Paul, legendary Paul, etc, etc None of them loved Jesus (pbuh) rightly and more than Blogging Theology Paul does. 😊

I remember coming to this exact same conclusion as a devout Christian in my teenage years.

Can you imagine on the Day of Judgment when a person finally learns the truth and that he/she is being damned in hellfire for all eternity because of a lie somebody many thousand years ago told/wrote. Can't even begin to imagine the agony.

On the day of Resurrection I really want to see Paul's face when God places His wrath on him for misleading millions of people to deception. I honestly am more sad than angry for what he done..

I think another awesome guest would be Micheal Hudson. He’s an economist, historian and economic anthropologist. His books cover a whole range of important themes like history of money, subversion of Christianity and how what we know now as the standard narrative of history departed from reality.

Another great and enlightening episode. Sincere thanks to both of you, Paul and James.

How did these Aramaic characters get European names?

Extremely scholarly and valuable, adds to the vast new revision of understanding the obscured Jesus of history by so many full time scholars who spent all their life time in this discipline

I think the Greco-Roman influence on Christianity has been heavily explored in relation to Pauline thought, but it would be interesting to see more discussions about the influences of Persian thought on the formation of Christianity. Sh. Abdal Hakim Murad had some interesting thoughts to present on Christianity not merely being a Hellenised reconfiguration of Judaism, but a fusion of Hellenistic and Persian thought culminating in the theanthropic synthesis that dominated all of Europe

I don’t believe Paul knew Greek enough to read, and write Greek

Just must comment
The history book called the Bible has been, altered, then to the extreme during the renaissance period.
What makes anyone actually believe this history book has remained authentic, and unaltered.
So many contradictions in this book

God the Father is the real founder of Christianity.

Psalm 22:1-18
Psalm of the Cross
King James Version

1 {To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.} My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

*16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

*17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

*18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
