No messing around, no silly intro that I have to skip. Straight to the point as it should be

From one Tyler to another... this is the way we roll. Straight to the point, 2 USB drives because managing partitions sucks, color themed USB flash drives, Mint because its easy... bravo brother.

tip: use a video capture card. It captures everything coming from the hdmi cable, no need to start a recording

i got really confused as to where you wanted to download to and where the the computer actually chose its default target download drive(c : ? ) . So there is some shuffling of down load files off the C drive to the to usb drives it appears but the video feed is too small to read.

Thanx for that. I'll try it later in the week. I've been trying with with YUMI and making a bootable USB HD but can only get about 7 Gig of usable space on a 120Gig SSD USB3 drive. This looks like a good solution for testing properly with.

Whenever I try mine. It looks like it’s running a bunch of lines of code. Somewhere in those lines it says error. I’m not sure what to do

Its a great way to get on to the library computers. Here in the UK the libraries are still using Windows 7 and in all honesty they are slow and generally horrible to use but these computers are very capable of running Linux. They also have a time limit and they require' I.D to log in to them which makes things even slower. Personally rather than slowly kill a USB drive I'd use an SSD in an external USB enclosure and run it that way. I could then use the computers when ever I'm out at pretty much any library I can use the computers with my portable USB SSD and run Linux, access my email etc and the beauty of it all is that all my information is secure on my SSD plus running Linux is much more secure than outdated Windows 7 because I certainly wont be checking my emails on outdated public library operating systems that are probably loaded with all kinds of nasty stuff.
