Disclaimer: I ain't challenger, that isn't me. However, I do have 200 years of Thresh trolling experience, so I am decently qualified to talk about the matter.

It's so nice finally having a high elo example of Thresh Top to look up to! We may do more videos looking at Ady's Thresh Top very soon (especially as this patch's replays are expiring, I better get on with that!)

Also, yes, Before the Rework is like 70% done but I wanted to do this for today.

Personally love thresh top. Even in wildrift. Depending on the match up, I go lethal tempo or grasp, and usually rush Bork, get a tear in the middle, then frost fire. Then build fimble winter into what I want. Either more dmg, or more tanky. Pretty fun. :D might try the wits end rush. Sadly, wildrift doesn't have titanic hydra.

Cryo, have you ever tried frostfire->demonic on thresh top? Xpetu does it on shen most games. The idea being that frostfire procs the demonic damage.

A 'four mythic' build with and has got to be pretty solid on thresh top. Lots of health. Shields on every e. Percent health on every few autos. Frostfire should also stack tear right?

People really need to learn the difference between a build that climbs to a position and a build that is simply played there. Any high elo player can play anything they want. They just click it and lock it in, like anyone else. That does not make it viable. What is relevant is how well it does. That said, Thresh is still viable. Viable for climbing from low to high rank consistently? Idk. There honestly does not seem to be much data. His soul scaling is nothing to scoff at though and, at least plat and below, seems viable (though....most things are at those ranks.) Still, his armor and AD stats are undeniable and his CC is amazing. Still, as you said in the video there are....other factors....you always have to deal with in laddering that make a champ's ability to carry very much relevant *cough* people giving up, trolling, and inting *cough*

Honestly thresh top is pretty good but you need a decent team. I've had games were I've destroyed Fiora and Mordekaiser in lane just for my team to feed them later.
