Had a vintage 1970 Challenger back in 1990 when I was 20 years old (and so was the car). Just recently bought a 2012 Challenger SXT. This now 10 year old car feels so modern. That 20 year old car felt ancient back in 1990. The best thing about the modern Challengers is they kept the same body style as the vintage ones from the 1970's but added all of the modern comforts, so it's the best of both worlds.

If I the money and could get one, I would daily drive one. Plus the looks, it is to me the best looking car made today and I hope they never change it or not too much anyways. I would be happy with a V6, but to hear those hemi's sound would be great too. Anyways good video and enjoy your car because if you like it who gives damn what anyone else thinks!!

I purchased a pre owned 1970 Dodge Challenger back in March of 1975 from a Dodge Dealership in Laurel Maryland almost immediately following completion of Army Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri while stationed at Fort Meade Maryland . It was a HEMI Orange R/T. With only 17000 miles, black vinyl top, manual transmission Shaker. Recently I purchased a new 2022 Scat Wide Body Go Mango orange manual. My Challenger isn’t a daily driver. It’s more of a old man’s interest and re living the dream per se. For various reasons I go easy on it, but occasionally I’ll toy with it a bit. It quickly gets loose no matter the circumstances or road conditions. No problem with all that on my part. In the meantime I’ve dressed it up under the hood and interior with various extras, including a kill switch and a dash cam. Also a pistol grip shifter and Challenger floor mats, rear diffuser and MOPAR logo head rest covers and Scat 392 seat belt shoulder pads. It’s a project in the making. Nevertheless you all be careful out there and enjoy too. USARMY 74-95 and Federal service 96-2018 retired. Thank you America.

Just picked up a 2019 challenger scat pack shaker to replace my 96 ford bronco 351w. The gas milage is pretty good on scat packs. My average was around 18 mpg while my bronco was 9 mpg. Defintely a better upgrade

A heads up too for anyone up north, the car isn’t terrible in snow either. Yes, you’re better off in awd or 4wd vehicles in the snow but once you figure out driving in snow, it’s not too bad. The biggest thing to watch out for is unplowed driveways and parking lots bc roads are usually plowed
