Bruh I sent this at 12am while playing League with a nice beer, slept for 10 hours, and now I’m back and this has gotten way out of hand lol.

The thing about the Energy resource bar was that the champions that used it had lower cooldowns later in the game, but the resource bar as well as Energy costs prevent them from constantly spamming their low cooldown skills late game, meaning that the champion with Energy will have to wait a bit for their Energy to replenish to repeat their combo. This is why Energy is most commonly used for assassins.

If Riot chooses to buff Energy by reducing Energy costs overall on abilities or increasing the max Energy cap by a lot, then they're essentially removing the original purpose of Energy resource bars. Might as well remove Energy bars as a whole and replace them with Mana bars if that's the direction they want to go.

As a Shen main I can say that whatever changes they make to energy whether it be less cost or more capacity, he is going to be BROKEN. If you play the champ right you will rarely be out of energy and if I am given anymore than what I got I am going to be able to do a combo 2x over. So IMO I think it would be fine if they just kept it as is. For everyone else's sake lol

Well I can definitely you had me scared for a second. But I can also say after maybe a split second of thought that didn’t change because one slight Akali buff means a mountain of nerfs down the line. Here we go again

Riot: we are doing a durability patch so the burst fights stop and there's more health in the game so no one is able to one shot everything!

Riot 2 months later: okay so we think early game champs aka one shot champs need to be uber buffed!

Also Riot: so we are nerfing healing and anti healing and nerfing shields and also reverting everything back. Okay great, that patch looks fantastic!

I got a Million mastery points on Zed and i never ever had problems with the energy, this buffs are just random af

This is so counter productive. Most of th champion mentioned were some kind of burst type damage champion. Amd riot said that they wanted to increase durability, yet this change most likely makes these champion can spam more ability, that means more damage. In the end removing all changes in the first place.

Might as well make them resourceless. Recharging energy is already almost inconsequential for most energy champs.

I always thought energy champs were more skill expressive. You need to hit abilities/atks to get energy and that's your reward for being good enough.

I'm scared of what Akali will be with a energy buff, cuz i main it and she is extremely strong rn, her mid/late game is scary zed is the same but he is just weak this patch

I love Shen, hes one of my favorite champions but he does not need any kind of buff if he is getting one at all with these changes lol. Already he's in a really strong spot so any further and I fear nerfs.
