As a neurodivergent individual who has gone down the rabbit hole of myths and mythological folk lore, fairy circles are usually traps for humans where fairies feed on the humans souls while forcing them to dance forever. Trees that have open arches that you can walk through are considered doors to other worlds. They aren’t particularly traps in general but on some occasions they can be considered portals to hell and or traps to feed on unsuspecting animals/humans, only on some occasions though. Also, incase you didn’t know, fairies are not just little people with wings who take care of nature. In actual folk lore they are considered to bring death and they usually feed off of souls and flesh. They’re little annoying shits

Okay, added context to the Fae Traps thing. Fae are specifically celtic in origin (mostly Irish), and its mostly superstition to never EVER EVER mess with them. Being transported to the otherworld is less like narnia and more like a parallel dimension. But the more common belief is that Fae mess with us, they give bad luck, they trick you into making deals with them, sometimes if you find a random trinket that really has no business being where you found it, odds are its a fair folk tempting you into a deal and if you accept it you are accepting the deal, and allowing them into your life and they bring bad luck through that. Another belief, which stems from that last one, is that we never move things that they have set up. Fairy rings, trees or mounds associated with them, etc. In fact, here in Ireland there was a tree or a mound that was in the way of a road that was being constructed, and I think it was the government themselves that agreed, instead of cutting down the tree or removing the mound, to make the road go around it. That's how deep-seeded this is in our culture. It's a Pagan belief, but it was so important that it stuck around even after we converted to Christianity and had most of our stories rewritten by Christians. This shit is just stuff that we grow up knowing. It's kind of like the equivalent of you saying to not mess with Oujia boards or something like that. Im not sure what the Mexican equivalent would be that's of equal importance, but there ya go lol

My kids and I used to take long walks in the woods behind my house when they were small. They loved looking for animals like squirrels, turkeys and we even found a fawn (baby deer) once. I always made sure they knew to look from a distance and not get too close. My younger daughter always used to say that those woods were a perfect place for fairies to live. My older daughter and I made a fairy house in a hole at the bottom of a tree for my younger daughter when she was way, way younger. We spent two weeks making tiny little miniature furniture pieces (chairs, table, bed and bed table). I found a flicker lamp in a craft store that ran off of one of those little itsy bitsy watch batteries and put it inside, on the bedside table. I cut a small hole next to the doorway hole and glued some curtains on the inside. My daughter made a pathway from some old colored glass fish tank gravel. Neither of us had the heart to tell her that we made it until she was old enough to figure it out on her own. It's actually one of her fondest memories from when she was little.
