Hold on a second. I'm a young black freemason and my father is one too. I've never encountered any kind of segregation or racism. If anything, they were joyed that a young person even wanted to join and follow in his father's footsteps. Even I on the road, I'm constantly getting honks and shout outs by other freemasons when they see my license plate.

My great grandfather was a mason. Don’t know anything about the group, other than my father remembers seeing a new initiate learning the secret handshakes from my grandfather in the living room. Its interesting that a lot of articles/videos talk about the Freemasons as if they’re not around anymore. They definitely are. This video dis a good job talking about present day FM.

my father was a Mason, had the 33rd degree of Scottish rites, he was part of the Templar order, he fought on the front lines of Korea, believed in God, did a lot of charity all anonymous, his funeral was huge, military salute with rifles, Scottish bagpipes, his headstone small & plain as he requested, cancer was progressing he went ahead with no fear, his concern was always for others.

I'm a cadet and did colour guard (carried flags) for their Remembrance Day ceremony, or the ceremony of the vacant chair and they seemed very cryptic, but the nicest people i've met in a while. overall, pretty cool people, but weird

My neighbor is a Jamaican Mason and dark as they come so I think their enrollment has changed like adding women. They do a lot of GOOD but there is still a lot of hush-hush too so makes you wonder why and why today?
