Im surprised WSJ would profile Goorin Brothers, with their poor quality straw, wool (not felt) fedoras, and worst - putting their brand logo on the hats :/ 

That being said, I guess not everyone can afford to go to Optimo in Chicago to get a real hat made (though by that same token, not everyone can afford the mansions that WSJ profiles, either)

Goorin is expensive for something made from wool. I expect something that price made with fur felt.
