Thank you for this clear teaching method! This is my first time listening. I finished the intermediate level of Spanish many moons ago and I found this format refreshing for my review! Por favor continua!

1:30 I was anticipating ir de comprar to convert the english use of the gerund, but conjugated for tú here as compras... I will look back through my notes to find the rule in play for infinitive + article... conjugation form.

When I learned Spanish in school (and even native speakers around me) I was taught to end verbs with o when referring to yourself. Ex: puedo (I can), quiero (I want). But in other places I’ve also heard the way the video describes as well. Is this another case of dialect and geographical differences in pronunciations? Does anyone else have this problem?

This is useful thank you. But FYI you have 2 questions numbered 6 (and 2 ‘pueda’ and 2 ‘termines’ which may have been intentional).

I understand the subjunctive fine with your excellent explanations. My question is why isn’t a personal ‘a’ used with Maria and Juan?

Why are the conjugations for vosotros missing?

Hi Paul. Have you heard people in Mx usé orden instead of pedido. “Vengo por mi orden” or is orden slang.

I appreciate your helpful lessons but I don’t see the word “trastes” either in my Spanish dictionary nor does my spanish keyboard recognize this word. I know “platos” as dishes. Is this just a Mexican term?
