Great process! We used to pick wild morels outside of Vancouver, Canada. At the time (about thirty years ago) Turkey was the only country which grew them commercially. How things have changed!!! Very impressive system!!! Thx for the post. 👍 🌟👏

What a great result! Well done to you, morels are delicious mushrooms.
They were very rarely found with my father, in the region where we lived in France.

My family has been finding cooking and eating them for over a hundred years we didn't know you could make them they are over $300 a pound because they only grow once a year in May for only a week or 2 that's why they cost so much they must be rich we love them here in Canada

It's really cool that this is possible! Already tried cultivated morels. Still prefer the wild ones, they have usually a bit a thicker meat, so more to bite. But besides that, the taste is pretty much the same, very delicious!

Personally, I enjoy going in the woods and hunting them. I make a mean morel mushroom soup too. nothing like natural grown.

So much energy just to pressure cook the medium. So much easier to just boil woodchips then blend the mushrooms into a mycelium slurry

back on may 4 2015 theurbanfarmingguy showed how to make your own morel culture and pour it around your property and have morels start growing there with out all the work they are doing

Please write down the components in it with us. Which wood chips do you use for the morel mushroom?

This is amazing! At the frontline guys, good work. Not done anywhere else I believe

Is the substrate corn? Hard wood or a grain?

Can this be done easier on a much smaller scale? What materials did you use there for grain spawn? Straw and what kind of wood chips? What time of year do you put this into the soil? In the wild they start in early spring when the soil is 50 degrees celcius. Do you use wood ash to simulate the forest fire effect? Morels tend to pop up in the spring in areas that had a fire in the previous summer.

Hi friend. Thank you very much for the video, but I wanted to clarify a couple of important points. 1- after you poured and covered the earth with a film, how many mushroom fruit bodies will come out? 2- in our region, these mushrooms get out once a year, in April or May, if I do everything as you have in the video in the month of July or August, when should I wait for the mushrooms? what does it depend on ?
