Titanic - Rose and Andrews' Final Conversation

This is probably one of the best acted scenes in the movie. Thomas Andrews (Victor Garber) is sad / disappointed that Rose didn’t evacuate in a boat like he told her to, although he helped her navigate to rescue Jack. And when Rose asks “aren’t you gonna try for it, ” he doesn’t even answer and just says “sorry for not building you a stronger ship.” Shows that he is somber and giving up, but still is a great example of heroism. I’m sure he would be proud that Rose made it out, but the acting and emotions speak for themselves here. Such a powerful scene!

This part was really heartbreaking and amazing Thomas Andrews sacrificed his own life for others as he did in real life I cried at this scene Xx

Thomas Andrew’s thought he built the perfect ships in titanic and Olympic, he went down with his ship a hero helping as many people to lifeboats and making the crew fill them, I like to think had he survived he would have been recognised as a hero unlike ismay who was a coward who should have stayed on the ship until the very end. Had Andrew’s survived I imagine there would have been significantly more changes to Olympic and Brittanic and many other ships to avoid anything like this ever happening again.

Although Victor Garber does a phenomenal job acting in this film, I just found out he's supposed to be portraying a 39 year old man. That seems like a slight stretch to me 😅.

I dont know if is true but i heard that the real Andrew was a nice guy and it still rememberd in Belfast
