Binged Edgerunners the other week, Smasher is an absolute monster and such an interesting yet simple villain. For sure making a Smasher esq character as a rival in my next DnD characters backstory.

Despite how imposing smasher is, he's not much more than a angry manchild with really good cybernetics. Based on the statlines from cyberpunk red he's considerably less skilled than most legendary solos and can only keep up because of his tech. He just wants to kill people and break things because it makes him feel important and powerful when really he's nothing but a replacable corprate hound.

The core problem with this whole "smasher is a legend bruv" – there's something wrong with story writing or plot shielding if some cyborg (even it's high tech cyborg with all arasaka innovations) could terrorize NC for so long

It's like "he is scary and powerful because....BECAUSE"
