House passes debt ceiling bill, McCarthy calls on Biden to negotiate

House Republicans narrowly passed a bill to raise the nation's debt ceiling by $1.5 trillion while at the same time imposing an array of spending cuts to the federal budget. Did you hear the story about the kid who stood outside a Democratic fundraiser selling kittens. As people left the fundraiser he held up the kittens and said “Buy a Democratic kitten”.
