I’ve had them for the past 12 yrs. I’m 71 going on 20 now. They will keep their human in shape 😂

I have a female doberman, Quincy. She loves to play outside. She is so gentle and good with other dogs i think due to early socialization. She had a habit of jumping on people but as she is growing older that problem seems to fade away. She becomes so happy when any of the family members come back home And...She loves all members of the family so much, you can see it in so many behaviours. You can also see that in her eyes man, the way dobermans look at you, i mean you can feel their love for you.

I’m training my first Doberman puppy of five months old and he is 85 pounds! I’ll never forget this breed and the way it looks in your eyes with so much undying love, we just met too 😂❤

As a fellow dobie owner, I have to say, again, and agree again, Dobermans are different. My red girl Lucy still goes over the top when she sees other dogs she hasn't met. She follows every command I give at home with complete obedience as most dog owners know, distraction. People avoid us in my neighbourhood. Despite all of her yelling, she only wants new friends. She is a covid hand me down and has become a typical doberman. The best friend I have ever had. She reads my mind and can predict my reaction to situations. I once did Ironman and being a dobie owner is like doing it every day. Very rewarding, but oi, alot of work. Cheers P

My Dobie is almost 7months and still is extremely playful and likes to play rough with other dogs but we know its harmless, he’s the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. I love him.

Along with Beckman's, Doberman Planet is another good channel for info on owning/training.
My Dobie will play rough with dogs similar in size. But with the smaller breeds, he literally lays down and lets them climb on him.

We have a rescued male Doberman when he was 6 months old. After 2 years of having him, he's a happy playful puppy.

Lots of great info.
We had a Doberman abandoned at our house by a "friend" . We really love him a lot now...2 years later ( and did right away also) he is 120pounds and wants to be right with his human at all times like you said. They are 100% worth the effort.

I have a 6 month old doberman/lab, and he's a handful. Bitey at times, but getting better. I completely understand the whole "Velcro Dog" thing...he follows me everywhere! As difficult as a day can be with him, I can't imagine my life without him.

When I was a child my father used to have a doberman, what a great dog, smart, loyal, and lovely. I'd like to have a doberman, but your right, these dogs need physical and mental stimulation, and also a lot of space. Nice video!!!

Mine is 13. Best dog ever! I don’t know if I could keep up with the physical needs of another Doberman. It’s a lot of work but so worth it if you live an active lifestyle and are able to commit to consistently socializing and training them for the first two years at least.

Great video! We have a 6 yr old doberman & potentially getting a 9 week old this weekend! Our Vader is the a model citizen for sure— neighbors have even commented on how he has changed their minds about dobermans.

Great video! I’ve owned multiple dobies and people have a hard time understanding how they play 😂 that’s why i just tell people to watch their feet and teeth and how it’s not doing any damage, and then they’ll do this random sneeze to let the other know they’re just playing. Having two helped with the loneliness and energy exertion so I always recommend getting another at some point if it’s feasible for a family. One thing I wish I knew about dobermans is their heart health issues. I was playing with my Apollo last year and all of a sudden I found that he dropped dead and CPR didn’t revive him. Come to find out this is somewhat common and had I known I would have gotten pet insurance very early on and done annual wellness/heart visits. Lovely girl, your videos are great!
