people that dont like the office dont see the true beauty behind it. its mostly about how dynamic and fruitful something thats is seemingly mundane can be. each character also fits a stereotype of someone we all know i feel like thats why the office fans are so diehard. best show of all time imo

Jim’s first line was “Oh, I told you, I couldn’t close it” then “actually you called me in here”

For folks who might not know, John Krasinski was ready to quit acting and pack it up, called his Mom to let her know he was done waiting tables and was coming home. (it was around September or something) She told him to stick it out till the end of the year and two weeks later he got The Office. So I think in his last line he’s speaking from the heart a bit when he says he owes everything to this job, it put him on the map, he met Emily Blunt, had a Family with her, pretty much things mirrored in the show about selling paper…

And he ended it with that famous look at the camera

I love how his last line is just like his first line

This is not Jim Halpert talking about Dunder Mifflin, it’s John Krasinski talking about The Office

The beauty in ordinary things. The last time I saw the show I kept noticing that that is its message.

So Dwight was the one who bothered Jim and drove him to the point where he pranks him sometimes

I’ve watched the whole series 9 times now and hearing him say those lines get me wanting to rewatch it over and over again the office has that sort of effect on me

Never met my Pam, but as I sit here retired I feel very much the same as Jim about the company I worked for. Didnt appreciate the journey, but I certainly appreciate the life it's given me now.

The power of the last line, for me, is strong because when he talks about "everything I have, I owe to this job" he is also talking about his real career, that of actor/director. Without the Office he would not have done Jack Reacher or a Quiet Place and probably would not have met Emily Blunt.
Wonderful

This show was absolute class. We probably won't see a sitcom this good and real for a very long time.

Those who watch reruns can relate there are certain times in this series/episodes like you get really awkward like but still you want to continue watching it because thats the beauty of it.

I think they got their math wrong. He said in the first episode “ after 7 years that never gets old” but it 9 years later that he says he was there for 12 years. Still a great show!

I just finished rewatching this show, and the ending just made me cry again. We never know where good things in our lives can come from, like, Jim and Pam just four each other because of their boring jobs at Dunder Mifflin and I find it beautiful 🥺❤

That was John speaking from the heart, since this show saved his acting career.
