€2 million purchase Ancient Wisdom makes winning debut

A nice house, a yacht or maybe a couple of supercars? €2 million is a lot of money, particularly to spend on a racehorse, but Ancient Wisdom looked every inch a smart performer when making a smart debut at Haydock Park in a seven-furlong maiden contest.

Bought by one of the sport's powerhouses, team Godolphin at the Arqana Deauville August Yearlings Sale in August 2022, the son of Dubawi powered to a five-length victory under James Doyle.

Great track to start a horses career. Haydock is very fair and ground is safe. Looks top class, don't be surprised if runs in Champagne Stakes at Doncaster and Dewhurst at Newmarket.
