I’ll briefly explain to you why I chose to put them in this order.

1. The Obstacle is the Way

Definitely the easiest one out of this list. Someone who is a beginner and wants to get into reading nonfiction can start with that one.

2. Atomic Habits

Although it is not difficult, it still requires some level of attention and concentration to be able to comprehend what’s written and to incorporate the teachings of the book.

3. Sapiens

This book requires attention, but it has been purposefully simplified so that most people can read it. We can say anything about the author of that book, but one thing worth noting is that his storytelling is brilliant!

4. How We Learn

This is a reasonably scientific book that requires your full attention and energy. It’s definitely not a beach read. You need to be fully present to succeed in understanding what it says.

5. Games People Play

The language of this book was so complicated and new for me that I had serious issues understanding what it wanted to say. Reading certain pages felt like reading a new language. If you choose to read this book, be ready to feel frustrated, especially if you are a beginner. (Wouldn’t recommend it to a beginner)

What is the easiest and hardest book you’ve ever read?

"Games people Play" is definitely on the harder side for sure. A relatively thin book that will often leave you wondering what the author is trying to convey.

I have read books 2 and 5. Book 5 was first read in 1987 in my early twenties, and re-read a number of times, also read a number of reference books mentioned there, became a winner in life by avoiding the game triangle.

The psychology of humans relationships similar to the one wrote by Carnegie on “How to make friends and influence others” where all the book’s advice can be boiled down to this: Produce fuel for others to consume, just like manipulators do to their victims!

What is this list? Non-fiction, obviously. But is it the hardest 5 books to read ever? In English? About what subject?

If you're interested in reading "Games People Play, " I recommend starting with Thomas Harris's book (I'm Okay. You're Okay") which introduces Dr. Berne's basic ideas on "transactional Analysis." Harris's book is not hard to read.

Try reading “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” by Friedrich Nietzsche. Truly the hardest book to read and understand for me! 💯 but once you understand it, you will realise how amazing it is

My face hurts from smiling and laughing at Kat getting angry about getting scared. Now I understand why she uploads once a week (even though I wish that she would upload more often 😈) because she will absolutely have a heart attack before she turns 30.

What is this list? They’re all self-help type non-fiction books? I see their appeal and get why some people can find value in them but I implore everyone to read fiction.
