I agree with the weight of the 15 PM. It is so much easier to hold than the previous models. That and USB-C is the most significant win to me.

The hype of the 3nm chip M3 family seemed to be much lower power usage versus 5nm chips along with about a 20% performance improvement. From what you say the power savings are not there.

Excellent video I just purchased my iPhone 15 Pro Max last week. I was rocking the iPhone 14 Pro Max with the battery life on that was horrible and it already had dropped down to 80% just an over a year so I upgraded it to the new one and so far, it’s been fantastic!

Holding onto 14 Pro Max for another year, despite the overheating & battery degradation. I’ve always babied my phone batteries so it’s frustrating to suddenly be having a problem I’d solved years ago (since my Galaxy S2 - don’t charge overnight/keep between 25-85%, don’t use while charging, use dark themes, etc, etc).

I am about to buy a new phone. I thought about 15 Pro but reading about the overheating issues and how good the normal 15 is I think I will go for 15 Plus.

This to me seems the likely culprit of the thermal problem. If it was a design issue then everyone would have it but it seems like a spotty issue and the chip reason explains it. Apple should come out and say something and refund the bad phones. If you nerf all the phones then they won’t perf as well as expected.

I have the 15 Pro Max, I have had the 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max, and 14 Pro Max. This is hardly an upgrade even when comparing it to the 12 Pro Max. My problem with these reviewers is how excited they get when talking about the “upgrades”. The action button is not special, and the USB C is too little too late. USB C is good to have but shouldn’t be considered an upgrade. The bezels are not very noticeable as an upgrade. I haven’t noticed any advantage of the new processor. I probably never would since I won’t play triple A games on a phone.

The 15 Pro Max is a great refined IPhone but nothing that warrants the excitement of these tech reviewers.

Yes sir, the iPhone 15 Pro Max photo looks like it was photoshopped...

An honest review, or a biased review? Photos look yellowish, and i literally laughed out loud hearing how you compliment the photos like its the best ever, while looking at the over yellowed photos.

Silicon lottery is not acceptable as to justify low QA... silicon lottery is only on chips that do the default clocks and stays in temp specs, and they do not OC (in PC's) very well. Here it is a phone, that cost like a new pc and we cannot OC or Downclock it, and also it is a mess if it is your main and only phone and you need to return it. They drop a lot on QA internally and the phone cracks faster and some units overheats (and cracks)... So why should I buy it?! 13 pro here... Cheers!
