Story on Battery Health %
I had a blue 15 PM 512gb, 130 charge cycles and it was still at 100% battery health when I gave it to my daughter, I then went and got the same phone in black for myself and with the exact same setup my battery health % dropped to 99 at 26 cycles and then to 98% at 41 cycles. It also got real warm. I sold it and got the regular 15 Pro 512gb and it’s been awesome. Battery lasts longer, And never gets hot.
Seems to be a lot more inconsistencies in quality since the 14’s came out. Hope Apple tightens up quality control.

Nick, a great video. Love your honest opinions. Still using my iPhone 13 pro Max Alpine green and to me it's fantastic. Since the day of purchase till now my battery health is at 87% and I get through the day with no problems. Keep up the excellent work.

For zoom they should just use a 48mp 5x zoom. Same goes for the ultra wide. All sensors should go 48mp. Its the perfect sweetspot imo

I got a 15 pro max at the end of June. I couldn't wait until the 16 cause my 13 had too many issues. I love my 15 pro max. I got it in blue titanium it's been a while since I had a pro max. I switched to a USB to C cord instead the C to C cord to avoid heating. I don't need the fast charging and if I do I'll use the C to C charger which I used on the phone twice. The only time it got warm with me was the C to C cord or magsafe

Use the original apple 5watt adapter for overnight charging, your battery will last longer. It doesn't even heatup while charging but quick chargers very much does.

What I appreciate is your honesty and your all in attitude I own a 15 pro max and it’s a epic phone I also own a 14 plus which is also epic I have owned it since it came out I haven’t had a heat issue which I’m pleased about

i’ve had my 15PM and hardware wise, i can only agree about it getting hot. the first week that was all i noticed. outside heat issues, it’s been a lot of software bugs. at first it was my keyboard not showing. i’ve experienced 2 bugs w the notch. now i’m experiencing my screen being momentarily unresponsive. when you pay a months rent for a phone you don’t expect these issues.

Hey Nick, did you test any phones in the past year that remained cool during high CPU/GPU load activities? I personally haven't had a cool phone since the old dumbphone days, and reviewers don't really speak about it.
