Today, @orbea has launched the new Wild eMTB. What changes have they made to justify a new model so soon?

I have put 750 miles on my ‘24 Wild and it’s by far the best bike I’ve ever been on. About 300 miles ago I put on an EXT e-Storia shock and it really helped it be more compliant in the really rough chunk, and I’m also running Shigura brakes which have been super reliable and consistent. Also running 155mm cranks which got rid of the pedal strikes, and recently threw on a set of Continental tires which are phenomenal (175 miles on them and they look barely scuffed, Maxxis tires would have been trashed by now). The minor tweaks to the ‘25 sound interesting, but the mullet setup doesn’t - I need 29” for the big rocks here in Phoenix.

I have the 2023 Orbea Rise and I would not swap it for the 2025! It’s absolutely perfect as it is 🎉

Great looking bike. Big issue with the brand is that they lack support, almost essential when owning an emtb imo.

Yeah, nice review i just starting to look at 2023 model to buy, but this 2025 will be my new bike replacing 2021 trek rail. I just love that you can run both wheel sizes this game chamhing for me only a few negatives not removable battery and headtube cable routing its just big NO otherwise ill get one.

I'm loving my 23 Wild. I've put over 6000 kms on it! New warranty motor and battery 1500 kms ago. Have they improved the motor cover? It's such a weak point on the bike.
